As of August 1, 2022, all members of AAUP-UNH became members of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT). The affiliation unites the 45,000 members of AAUP with 1.7 million AFT members, 148,000 of whom are faculty in higher education. The affiliation provides new opportunities for support and solidarity across the state and nationwide. Our members will benefit from the AFT’s prominence and political clout as it uses its powerful voice to advocate for educators. More information about this affiliation can be found below.
